Secretary of Commerce and Industry to the Government of Andhra Pradesh between 2016 and 2019 then Secretary to the Chief Minister of the State of Andhra Pradesh from June 2019 to October 2022, Mr. Solomon AROKIARAJ was appointed Secretary to the Ministry of Finance, responsible for infrastructure for a period of five years.

Mr. AROKIARAJ obtained his Bachelor's degree in Agriculture from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, followed by a Master's degree in Business and Management and a diploma in Economics from Harvard Kennedy School. Mr. AROKIARAJ speaks English, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.

His career in administrative service took him to Vishakhapatnam, Chittoor and Anantapur where he worked as Collector and Magistrate.
