Balthazar SCHLUMBERGER is the CEO of Simpl, a online platform dedicated to measuring the contribution of infrastructure assets to the SDGs, their alignment with the EU Taxonomy and the compliance of portfolios with SFDR regulatory requirements.
Having worked 10 years in the field of ESG within financial institutions, Balthazar has been able to witness first hand the rise in importance of ESG in investments strategies and portfolio management. Identifying the lack of positive impact and ESG analysis in the monitoring of infrastructure portfolios and the growing volume of ESG data points required for compliance and communication purposes, Balthazar founded Simpl to address this need in the market.
